Remote not working

Remote is not working to turn on the light or fan. Tried to sync the remote to the fan and no luck. Changed the batteries and still didn't work.

Terrible customer service

Remote stopped working. Fan is only a year old.

I contacted customer service in a effort to obtain a new remote. They had me provide extensive documentation regarding proof of purchase and manufacturing numbers only to deny the claim stating that I am out of warranty. My option is to purchase a new remote or fan.

This company does not support it's customers or products. I would stay away.

Bought the hunter ceiling fan at Costco and had put it away for three months opened it up and put it up. Three parts were defective after speaking to customer service for well over an hour.

They told me I need to find my receipt first before they can even send me three screws which were stripped and no threading, which I am shocked because that was on their production. The worst customer service ever.

User's recommendation: If you buy anything from this company, you better save your receipt even if it’s for 30 years because the lifetime warranty only is if you have that receipt even if it’s for one screw, they will not replace it

Lost remote

I have been trying to resolve that my fan that is 4 months installed to work.

I spoke to Dayana G in the support department and explained that my fan was not working. I emailed her my invoice and she has not reply or called me back since yesterday.

Im very disappointed that this fan has batteries inside de switch.

First time I see this. Fan has not worked right since installed.

I bought two of the same fans and one work perfectly and the ortheg one seems to be defective.

My remote doesn't work anymore

He could not help me because the instructions were in Spanish, and I could not replace the fan because I could not find my receipt from 16 years ago. I could send a picture of the fan.

Also, parts for my fan are no longer available. It's sad; other fans in my house are 29 years old and work as they should. This fan did not even get as much use. It is very disappointing to have a faulty fan that I have to replace at my expense.

You should still have replacement parts made. I'm sure I will get no good feedback, other than 'we are sorry'.

Warning consumers that fan makes intolerable humming noise

Had the Dempsey model fan installed by an electrician and the motor hummed. These fans as advertised as Whisper quiet.

Had the fan removed and replaced with another Dempsey model and the humming sound was worse. I paid an electrician hundreds of dollars for installing both fans and now I cant use the fan because of the noise. Sending the other one back and getting a floor fan.

Dont buy one of these fans. A waste of money.

Help with repair, part selection

While they identified (or confirmed) the issue, that our fans are designed for incandescent bulbs only per the specs page in the owner materials, they did NOT address the questions in my message pertaining to solutions. Specifically if I can direct wire the lights to be on whenever the wall switch delivers power to the 4 fans.

I wasn't pissed before, but now I am somewhat irritated.

I will reply to them asking for the wiring diagram. Thank you, and stay tuned.

We have 4 Hunter fan models 2034*-*** (Type 3), each with a 4 lamp light kit and remote control for fan speed and lights on/off.
We installed LED lights about 3 years ago. to get the LED lights to work correctly, we kept 1 incandescent in each light,
Several 6 months ago the 4 bulbs in one of the fans start to flash like a strobe light, so we would turn it off.

a month ago the same thing happened in another fan light.
Note that we ALWAYS use the fans with lights on, so we really don't need the light on/off function - they could be hardwired to always illuminate when the wall switch is turned on.
Your website's download or open links for the two manuals are broken - we get an error message. We either need info to hardware the lights to be on when the fans are energized, or we need to know what to do (and what parts are needed) to solve the strobe flashes.

There appear to be only 2 electric modules in the light kit assembly: One is shaped to fit the curve of the light chamber with a Hunter label showing Model 98480X & p/n 984**-**.. The other is a smaller rectangular cube with printed text CBB61 and p/n 741**-**.
Please supply the 2 manuals, and any tips to either hardwire or stop the strobe flashing.

Late cancellation of order

I ordered 2 Hunter fans on Feb 7th. A week later I sent an email to Hunter "Customer Service" asking for an estimated delivery date.

I was told a few days later that I would get an email when the fans were shipped. I sent another email on the 19th of Feb asking again for a delivery date and this time I was told via e-mail that my order had been cancelled by their "system". Now I have to rush out and purchase 2 fans because these clowns decided to cancel my order and NEVER even attempted to reach out to me.

ZERO customer service and absolutely no "support" or help at all. A TERRIBLE company!!

I got a hunter fan at Costco mid fall but I did not installed it till Christmas. I understand that mechanical product sometimes has a problem. My problem is turn on fan on high you get litter air from it.I know you cant put the blades backward so I like to know what I can do

Can't make a return from an online purchase.

When the return policy states 45 days they mean it! I am in the final stages of having a house built.

When my contractor told me to order fans I did unfortunately they didn't start installing them until about 45 days after the purchase. Then I found out my bedroom was only wired for a fan and not one with a light. I asked if I could return it or exchange it and that was a firm NO! I should note my online order with them was for $700, and I also purchased two other Hunter fans at Lowes (exclusive model for them) at a tone of $250.

Furthermore, I then placed another order for a Hunter fan for my room.

When that arrives in the next few days that will be shipped back. They lost a customer for life!
